Gamification

How do you return to a practice when motivation fades and something you once enjoyed becomes a chore? Gamification is the story of my search for an answer: from attempts to motivate clients, a team, and myself to a deeper understanding of game mechanics in everyday life. Through personal experiments with learning, work, and daily routines, I explore the Theory of 100, the three locks of gamification, and the Portal Method. Why are points, rewards, and leaderboards not enough? What helps us move through the difficult beginning, notice progress, and keep practising without expecting a game to solve everything for us? This protocol brings together my experience and practical ideas for turning learning, projects, and routines into a game you choose to play. Not a promise of instant motivation, but an invitation to understand the mechanics, experiment with your own rules, and return to the process.
