Perspective Soaking

Perspective Soaking is a practice for training your ability to experience the same reality from different points of view. Instead of trying to convince yourself of a new belief or simply repeating affirmations, you temporarily enter a particular perspective — much like an actor enters a role. You listen, imagine, notice the body, and observe how a different perspective changes your attention, interpretation, and possible actions. You might enter the perspective of the Artist, the Leader, the Calm Founder, your Future Self, or the version of you who has already completed the next stage of the journey and now understands what still feels difficult today. You do not have to believe the perspective or become it permanently. You explore it, spend some time inside it, and then return to real life and test it through action. **Perspective Soaking is not about convincing yourself that reality is different. It is about developing the ability to experience the same reality through different perspectives.** Over time, instead of being trapped inside one automatic interpretation, the mind develops many available “rooms” — and the freedom to choose which perspective to bring into the next scene of your life.
